Maarut is seeking a Functional Analyst with a testing focus for Guidewire projects, currently replacing a role involved in Cloud migration and BillingCenter. The candidate translates specifications into test requirements, designs test strategies and drives end-to-end testing with defect tracking in Jira.

The ideal candidate has designed and led Guidewire testing, coordinates tests with development teams and supports acceptance testing in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence.

Functional Analyst Guidewire (Testing Focus)

The professional being replaced has held a testing-focused role at the client since 2022, on the Cloud migration, the billing and collection tool (BillingCenter) and broker-facing projects. He translates specifications into test requirements, builds test strategies, coordinates end-to-end testing and tracks defects in Jira. The CM's answer, analysis, documentation and testing, points the same way. This framing therefore puts testing at the centre of the functional analyst role.

Candidate sought : Someone who has designed and led testing on Guidewire projects, starting from functional specification analysis.Experience coordinating tests with development teams and supporting acceptance testing sets them apart from an execution-only profile.
