Job summary

Maarut is seeking a senior business analyst to join the Derivatives Onboarding pillar of a transformation program in Montreal. The role requires end-to-end analysis of the client journey across front, middle, and back offices, with strong focus on onboarding, KYC, and regulatory compliance requirements.

You will document requirements, use cases and traceability matrices, and lead cross-functional workshops up to decision. Fluency in French and advanced English are required.

Qualifications

Mandate Overview:

• The client is looking for two senior business analysts forthe Derivatives Onboarding pillar of a transformation program that also coversclient master data and client lifecycle and compliance management. The targetjourney runs from counterparty qualification through activation on tradingplatforms and is currently fragmented across multiple systems and manualinterventions. The value of the profile lies in combining three areas ofexpertise rarely found together: business knowledge of derivatives and theircontractual and regulatory framework, end-to-end analysis of a client journeywith six functions (Front, Middle and Back Office, Credit, Compliance, Legal),and rigorous requirements engineering in an Agile context. The role alsorequires alignment with analysts on the other two pillars and ease withexecutive stakeholders. Advanced English is required in addition to French.
  
• Candidate sought: a senior business analyst who hasdelivered at least one project on onboarding or client lifecycle forderivatives clients (rates, FX or equity) in Capital Markets, with ISDA, creditsupport annexes and reporting requirements on record. They produce requirementsregisters, use cases and traceability matrices themselves, and facilitatecross-functional workshops through to decision.
  

Requirements

Required:
