Job summary

Maarut in Toronto seeks a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead testing strategy, plans, and automation efforts across GUI and non-GUI environments. You will work with project teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC, executing contrastive tests and maintaining defect-tracking workflows.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts and project managers, perform stress/load testing, and contribute to release notes and user manuals as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience and Skill Set Requirements: 8+ years as Software QA Tester.
• Strong experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM and Siebel Test Automation is an asset.
• Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset and defect tracking with Jira/AzureDevOps.

RQ11316 - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior

• Providesadvice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testingtools, and the identification of resources required for testing.
  
• Plansand organizes testing efforts for large systems in Graphical UserInterface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments,including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests,and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).
  
• TheQuality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the development of testplans, test scripts and test cases and executing these against the variouscomponents.
  
• Thetester will work with the testing lead and IT lead of each project as wellas the project team members in the analysis, design, development,implementation and ongoing support of the required systems.
  
• Executesfunctional, integration, system, and regression tests.
  
• Validatesthat the system behaves as expected under various conditions.
  
• Identifies,document, and track software defects using tools like ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla,and Azure DevOps.
  
• Worksclosely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
