Job summary

Maarut is seeking a UX designer to craft intuitive interfaces and delightful user experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will lead end-to-end design efforts, including user research, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, ensuring accessibility and alignment with Ontario Design System.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and delivering designs that resonate emotionally with users across digital products.

Qualifications

• Experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
• Experience as a UX/interactive/UI designer for web and mobile applications.
• Ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops with stakeholders, business users.
• Managing end-to-end user research from recruiting to synthesis.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma and Canvas.
• Experience with Ontario Design System and knowledge of digital service standards.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
• Nice to have OPS or public sector experience.

Responsibilities
