Job summary

Maarut in Canada (Toronto, Ontario) seeks an experienced Business Analyst to lead and conduct business analysis across diverse digital and I&T initiatives. You will gather, document, and analyze business needs to define solutions aligned with stakeholder goals.

You will apply re-engineering concepts, develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ensure traceability from requirements through design, development, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business analysis for large, complex digital or I&T initiatives.
• Elicit, document, validate, and manage business, functional, non-functional, data, and reporting requirements.
• Experience developing business-process models, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, and traceability matrices.
• Experience facilitating requirements workshops with business, policy, operational, legal, privacy, security, and technology stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining requirements traceability through design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Experience leading requirements elicitation and analysis activities.
• Prior OPS/public sector exp. is a plus.

• Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysisservices for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
  
• Interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matterexperts in order to understand their requirements through gathering,documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements.
  
• Prepares and advises on business analysis policies,processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive andconsistent business analysis practice within the organization.

General Skills:

• Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assessclient’s business problems/opportunities and documents the businessrequirements in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined.
