Job summary

Maarut is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to identify automation opportunities within software processes, design and execute automated QA tests, and develop test automation scripts. The role collaborates with QA analysts and software developers to diagnose issues uncovered during testing and to implement effective solutions.

Must Haves:

• Stronghands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as:
  
• Selenium,Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriverIO (for UI testing)
  
• Postman,REST Assured, or SoapUI (for API testing)
  
• JMeteror Gatling (for performance testing)
  
• Solidunderstanding of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Mocha) and BDDtools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
  
• Abilityto analyze manual test cases and identify areas suitable for automation.
  

Nice to have:

• Prior OPS or public sector exp.

• Deepknowledge of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and QAmethodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration, system,smoke, and exploratory testing).
  
• Experiencedeveloping data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid automation frameworks.
  
• Abilityto analyze manual test cases and identify areas suitable for automation.
