Job summary

Maarut is seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist at an intermediate level in Toronto, Canada. You will lead testing efforts for large systems, develop test plans and scripts, and execute a broad set of tests across GUI and non-GUI environments.

The role requires hands-on testing experience, collaboration with developers, and participation in Agile ceremonies. You will implement automated tests, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality metrics and data integrity across systems.

RQ11716 - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate

• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, theselection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required fortesting.
  
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems inGraphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI)environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specializedtests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).
  
• The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for thedevelopment of test plans, test scripts and test cases and executing theseagainst the various components. The tester will work with the testing lead andIT lead of each project as well as the project team members in the analysis,design, development, implementation and ongoing support of the requiredsystems.
  
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regressiontests.
  
• Validates that the system behaves as expected under variousconditions.
  
• Identifies, document, and track software defects using toolslike ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps.
  
• Works closely with developers to reproduce and resolveissues.
  
• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using toolslike Micro Focus, OpenText™ UFT, Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing to ensure thesystem can handle expected user traffic and data volumes.
