Responsibilities And Duties

• RPN required for a young man with main diagnosis is Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. Experience with, G tube feeds, deep suction, comfortable with seizure precautions and wound care. Lift transfers. Blood sugar management.
• Training will be provided for gentlemans’ specific care needs.
• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the 905 area
• Looking for Day shifts, Evenings and Weekends as Needed
  
  

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• In Good Standing(Registration #) with CNO
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
