Qualifications

  • 1 year previous caregiving experience.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English; other languages are an asset.
  • In Good Standing (Registration #) with CNO.
  • Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check.
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic medical attention to Clients and assess their wellbeing.
  • Check vital signs and record medical history.
  • Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately.
  • Meet the safety needs of the client.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Provide basic medical attention to Clients and assess their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team
  • Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
  • Check vital signs, record a patient’s medical history and assist patients with hygiene
  • Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
  • Operate within the limits of your experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
  • Day shifts, evenings and weekends as needed
