Job summary

Horizon School Division’s Vauxhall High School is seeking an energetic Junior/Senior High Science/Math teacher for a 1.0 FTE temporary assignment beginning January 28, 2027. You will deliver Math and Science instruction to approximately 200 students and build positive connections with students, parents, and staff.

The successful candidate will contribute to school programs, including collaboration with the Horizon Mennonite Alternative Program (HMAP) and the elite VAB baseball academy, while

Vauxhall High School

Vauxhall High School is in the town of Vauxhall, Alberta. Our 24 staff provide service to approx. 200 students (65% of which are in high school) from Vauxhall and area. We also provide instruction for complimentary courses to the Horizon Mennonite Alternative Program (HMAP). VHS hosts an elite high school baseball academy (VAB). The staff work great together and have great relationships with students, parents, and the community.

Vauxhall Junior and Senior High School is seeking an energetic and dynamic junior and senior high Science/Math teacher that makes positive connections with students, parents, and staff. The successful applicant will be a teacher that positively contributes toward many different aspects of the school.

This position commences January 28, 2027, and concludes June 29, 2027.
