ACE PLACE LEARNING CENTRE, Taber

ACE Place Learning Centre is a grade 4-12 alternative/outreach program that offers differentiated choices in education to assist students in overcoming obstacles to high school completion. Staff work collaboratively to meet the individualized educational needs of students in our in-person junior high and our module-based high school learning model. O ur staff of 10 provides education to approx. 120 students.

1.0 FTE Temporary Outreach Educator

Assignment includes - Grades 10-12 ELA

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of our outreach education for Gr. 10-12 ELA. This is done in a module-based format. They will also teach some high school options depending on personal interests and abilities. Some of these options may include Psychology, Foods, World Religions, etc. This position will also teach a junior high ELA class. It is possible this position may include a Learning Support teacher role - experience would be an asset.

The position commences August 18, 2025, and concludes June 26, 2026, or upon return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.
