Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB) serves approximately 15,400 students across 39 schools, including elementary, K-12, and secondary institutions. HPEDSB encourages individuals proficient in French to apply, even if not certified by the Ontario College of Teachers. Applicants without certification must submit a resume, cover letter detailing experience, and an endorsement letter verifying French proficiency. Non-certified applicants must also confirm eligibility to teach on a Letter of Permission, meeting criteria such as being 18 or older, holding an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, and passing a vulnerable sector criminal background check.
