Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for technical direction and guidance to all levels in the organization. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for providing advice to Managers and Directors ensuring human resource policy and procedures and the collective agreement are administered appropriately. The Human Resources Manager provides supervision and direction to Human Resource staff, as applicable.

Qualifications:

• A University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources Management is preferred.
• A degree or diploma in business may also be considered in combination with related experience or training in human resources or health and safety.
• A CHRP designation or willingness to work towards a CHRP designation is required.
• Two to Five Years experience in a human resource environment is preferred.
• Two years management experience is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in relation to service requirements.
• Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
• Must complete a criminal records check.
