Job summary

Staffinity is seeking a Solutions Architect - Java for a client in Mississauga. This full-time, permanent role offers salary 100-130k CAD plus bonus and benefits, with the possibility of upside.

The position requires in-office work in Mississauga each day. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in core Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, OAuth2 security, RabbitMQ, and cloud/containerization (AWS/Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with core Java/J2EE, design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2, scopes, user roles and API security.
• Experience installing, configuring, administering, monitoring RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of Event Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of concurrency issues and solutions in architecture.
• Experience with cloud and containerization: AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with HTTP/HTTPS/HTTP2.
• Experience with CI/CD, TDD and pair programming.
• Experience with Scrum, Jira, Confluence, Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assigned software modules.
• Unit testing, deployment and module monitoring.
• Act as a main point of contact between internal departments and the customer.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure up-to-date status reporting.
• Research new technologies and design choices and influence architecture decisions.

The salary range is100-130k. Must be able to work every day out of the Mississauga office. Theideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Deepknowledge of RabbitMQ
• Experiencedeveloping complex products or modules from scratch
• TechnicalArchitect / SME level knowledge for Java
• ELKand authorization

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assigned software modules.
• Unit testing, deployment and module monitoring.
• Act as a main point of contact between internaldepartments and the customer.

• Research new technologies and design choices andinfluence architecture decisions by making contribution in all stages ofdevelopment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands on experience with core Java& J2EE skills and well versed in design patterns and related frameworks
• Experience with Spring-Boot and Microservices
• Good knowledge and experience of oAuth2 andrelated concepts including scopes, user roles; Good understanding of securityincluding writing secure software, API security, encryption and other securityaspects.
• Experience installing, configuring,administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting RabbitMQ.
• Good understanding of Event Driven Architecture.
• Good understanding of concurrency problems andhow to solve them in architecture and implementation.
• Experience working with cloud andcontainerization technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetesetc.
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol withexperience in HTTPs, HTTP2.
• Experienced in Continuous Integration andContinuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Experience in Test DrivenDevelopment (TDD) and Paired Programming
• Experience working with Scrum APM practices andtools including Jira, Confluence, Git etc.
• Strong debugging, problem solving andinvestigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files,error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
• Self-starter who can work independently withgood communication skills.
