Job summary

Coding Alpaca is looking for a dashboards-focused analyst to build and maintain operating views that show what actually happened for us and our clients.

You will pull data from sources like Linear, Harvest, cloud consoles, support queues, and Stripe, turning it into a single weekly read and informing rollout reviews about what shipped, what broke, and what changed. You will collaborate with delivery leads to price the next engagement using data from the last three projects.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an analyst/ops/BizOps or technical operations role.
• Strong with SQL and a spreadsheet; comfortable with at least one BI tool.
• Experience with Metabase, Looker, Hex or similar BI tools is a plus.

• 01 Build and maintain the operating dashboards we run the firm on: utilization, project health, support load, and delivery risk.
• 02 Pull data from a mix of sources such as Linear, Harvest, cloud consoles, support queues, and Stripe, then turn it into one weekly read.
• 03 Sit in on rollout reviews and produce the report on what shipped, what broke, what changed, and what to keep.
• 04 Help delivery leads and project managers price the next engagement using the data from the last three.

What we're looking for

• 01 Two to four years in an analyst, ops, BizOps, or technical operations role. Agency, managed service, or professional-services background is a plus.
• 02 Strong with SQL and a spreadsheet. Comfort with at least one BI tool (Metabase, Looker, Hex, or similar).
• 04 Bias toward writing the answer down, not just running the query.
