Job Description:

Location FGL is seeking an experienced gas small engine mechanic to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance and repair of gasoline, diesel, electric, and pneumatic engines, contributing to maintaining the quality and performance of rental equipment.

With decades of experience, Location FGL has established itself as a key player in the sector, offering personalized service and quality products to its clients.

Key Tasks:

  • Evaluation and repair: Handle customer work requests, perform maintenance, repair, and testing of gasoline or diesel engines, electric, pneumatic, and similar equipment.
  • Diagnostics and repair: Locate faults, adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical parts using manual tools and specialized equipment.
  • Customer service: Discuss work performed and equipment condition with clients, ensure quality service, and determine repair costs.
  • Maintenance: Conduct periodic maintenance on equipment, sometimes upon customer request, with proper documentation via the computer system.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
  • Autonomy and teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills and customer rapport.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Punctuality, honesty, and diligence are essential.
  • Fluency in French, both oral and written.
