About the Role:

The Healing and Wellness Program Provision Worker would support front-line, client-facing locations that require intermittent backfill, which includes direct case management responsibilities outside of the 100km office radius. They would track and monitor Healing and Wellness initiatives and support the Healing and Wellness Management in administrative duties as assigned during the interlude of vacancies.

This position supports with operational processes required for effectiveness and efficiency. Creates and uses basic Excel spreadsheets and Word/Adobe documents to manage/report data, manages information flow, completes research and information gathering and other duties as assigned. The Healing and Wellness Program Provision Worker follows prescribed processes that involve more complex clerical or administrative responsibilities, as well as direct clients facing supports.

What you will be doing:

  • Backfill vacancies across the province for Healing and Wellness Programs ensuring client service and volunteer coordination request are being fully supported.
  • Support Healing and Wellness with the development, implementation and tracking of special project/initiatives.
  • Financial reporting specific to Healing and Wellness program sites and budgets.
  • Record client services on the Online Health and Access Tracking System (OHATS).
  • Perform administrative duties and other duties as instructed by the program Manager and Supervisors.
  • Maintain a high-level of confidentiality.
  • Promotes the values of the organization within the workplace and in the community by demonstrating positive and professional relationships with others (employees, citizens, council, volunteers, advocates, etc.)
  • Reports all unsafe conditions, hazards or practices, accidents and incidents in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and adheres to all Health and Safety requirements within the MNO’s policies and procedures and provincial legislation.
  • Performs other job/branch-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Less than 1 year of experience
  • College Diploma (1 or 2 year)
  • Strong desire to act in the service of the Metis Citizens, to advance and uphold rights and culture
  • Technology literacy and proficiency in standard office equipment
  • Communications skills
  • Organization skills and time/priority-management
  • Ability to work alone/independently with minimal supervision
  • Administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with confidential information.
  • Previous experience in a similar/comparable role
  • Experience working in coordinating and delivering community-based programs or projects
