Okanagan Similkameen SD53 is hiring Teacher Teaching On Call teachers for the 2025/26 school year. Qualifications required include:

• Recognized education degree
• Recent graduation or imminent graduation from a recognized education program, or recent successful classroom experience
• Ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Ability to model, teach, and foster social, emotional, and cultural awareness
• Knowledge of current 21st-century pedagogy and assessment practices
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the professional community at the school and district levels
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs
• BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for a Teacher Qualification Service card
