SMCDSB seeks an administrative assistant to provide essential clerical support in a school setting. You will prepare correspondence, maintain records, and respond to inquiries in line with board policy.
This morning position (3.5 hours/day) will be scheduled by the Principal, with onboarding requirements including a Criminal Background Check for new employees.
Under the direction of the Principal or designate and in cooperation with the School Office Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the provision of administrative and secretarial support services within a school setting in order to ensure a positive and safe learning environment for all students, staff and members of the public. Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation and/or typing of correspondence, completion of reports and documents, maintenance of files and records, answering and / or directing enquiries as per board/school policy.
This position works mornings, 3.5 hours per day; schedule to be determined by the Principal.
