Workday Reporting and Integrations Lead – University Information Services
Georgetown University is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Workday Reporting and Integrations Lead to join its University Information Services team and help manage and optimize our Workday reporting and integration landscape. This position will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of custom reports and dashboards in Workday, as well as managing custom integrations from Workday with a variety of internal systems and third‑party applications/software.
In this role, the incumbent will work closely with functional partners in Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Cybersecurity to deliver reporting and integration solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with university needs and compliance standards. This role serves as a key technical partner and a subject matter expert for Workday tools to business units such as Finance, Human Resources, Payroll and other enterprise systems. The individual will play a critical role in enhancing data accessibility, enabling cross‑system interoperability, and supporting institutional decision‑making through Workday’s reporting and integration capabilities.
This position requires a strong understanding of both Workday Reporting (Report Writer, Composite Reporting, BIRT, Calculated Fields, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets) and Workday integrations (Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, REST/SOAP APIs), as well as the ability to translate business requirements into actionable, technically sound solutions. Additional duties include but are not limited to supporting the following:
The Workday Reporting and Integrations Lead reports to the Director of ERP Reporting and Integrations within University Information Services (UIS). This role collaborates closely with peers in the Workday core team, as well as stakeholders across departments including Human Resources, Office of the CFO, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, Office of Assessment and Decision System, and UIS. While this position does not currently have direct reports, it may provide guidance to junior analysts or external consultants as needed.
The work performed in this role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and secure flow of institutional data. By delivering high‑quality reporting and reliable integrations, this position supports operational efficiency, informed decision‑making, and compliance across the university. The specialist plays a key role in Georgetown’s continued adoption of Workday’s development and advancements in cross‑functional services such as reporting and integration, and helps align enterprise systems with university goals for innovation, transparency, and service excellence.
In supporting both functional and technical teams, this role helps foster cross‑departmental collaboration and contributes to the broader UIS mission of enabling technology that advances the teaching, research, and service mission of Georgetown University.
