About the Opportunities
At Kronia®, we’re expanding our Workday practice and are currently opening two Workday-focused roles within enterprise environments:
- Workday Integration Developer
- Workday Security & Integration Specialist
Both roles work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to design, build, and support secure, scalable Workday solutions integrated with external platforms.
Opportunity 1: Workday Integration Developer
Kronia® is looking for a Workday Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining integrations within the Workday platform, especially in finance-related domains. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise using Workday development tools such as Workday Studio, Workday Extend, Workday Integration Cloud, and Workday Prism Analytics. This role involves backend engineering tasks, such as designing scalable APIs and microservices, while supporting seamless integrations between Workday and external platforms.
You’ll be doing:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize integrations between Workday and external systems using Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud, and custom APIs.
- Design scalable backend services to support complex financial processes and data flows within Workday.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders to define integration requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Support Workday Finance integrations, including general ledger, expenses, and procurement modules.
- Leverage Workday Prism Analytics for data transformation and reporting needs.
- Build and maintain custom applications on the Workday platform using Workday Extend.
- Maintain code documentation, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in development and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday integrations or performance.
- Contribute to automation and CI/CD improvements related to Workday development processes.
The skills you bring:
- Hands‑on experience as a Workday Developer with a focus on integrations.
- Proven experience with Workday Finance Integrations.
- Strong command of Workday tools: Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud, Workday Extend, and Prism Analytics.>
- Solid backend engineering background with knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with various programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) used in Workday development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and data workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and work in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- Clear, effective communicator, both written and verbal, in fluent English.
Opportunity 2: Workday Security & Integration Specialist
Kronia® is looking for a Workday Security & Integration Developer with deep expertise in Workday Security configuration, Workday Studio, and complex integrations across the Workday ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant Workday integrations, ensuring proper data access, role‑based security, and seamless connectivity with external systems.
This role combines hands‑on Workday Security ownership with strong integration development skills, working closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to support enterprise‑grade Workday environments.
You’ll be doing:
- Design, configure, and maintain Workday Security models, including:
- Domain security policies
- Business process framework (BPF) security
- Role‑based and user‑based security groups
- Segmentation and data access controls
- Develop and support Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Integration Cloud.
- Ensure secure data exchange between Workday and external systems (HR, Finance, Payroll, Identity, and third‑party vendors).
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and Compliance teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into secure technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security‑and integration‑related issues, including access errors, failed integrations, and performance bottlenecks.
- Support Workday tenant management activities related to security, releases, and migrations across environments (Sandbox, Implementation, Production).
- Document security designs, integration logic, and operational procedures.
- Participate in audits, access reviews, and compliance activities related to Workday Security.
- Apply best practices for Workday development, security governance, and change management.
The skills you bring:
- Strong hands‑on experience as a Workday Developer or Workday Security Specialist.
- Deep expertise in Workday Security, including domains, BPs, security groups, and user‑based access.
- Proven experience developing integrations using Workday Studio.
- Solid experience with Workday integration technologies:
- EIBs
- Core Connectors
- Workday Integration Cloud
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data flows, and security principles.
- Experience supporting integrations across HR, Finance, Payroll, or Identity systems.
- Ability to analyze issues end‑to‑end, from security configuration through integration execution.
- Comfortable working in agile, fast‑paced environments with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English, both written and verbal.
