Overview

Day to day responsibilities:

• Work with account managers and clients to support Java runtime migration initiatives
• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Desktop environments
• Deploy and update Java packages using SCCM, Intune, PDQ Deploy, or Chocolatey
• Automate deployment and configuration tasks using PowerShell
• Troubleshoot package deployment and version compatibility issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth rollout across environments
• Document processes and provide progress updates

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Windows Server & Desktop Administration (Microsoft Certified or equivalent experience)
• Experience managing Java Runtime (JRE/JDK) versioning and package migrations across enterprise environments
• Expertise with endpoint/software deployment tools such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, PDQ Deploy, or Chocolatey
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (bonus: VBScript)
• Experience with automation of software lifecycle management
• Proficiency or certification in Windows Administration (Microsoft Certified / CompTIA Server+) and Microsoft 365 desktop administration
• Comfortable working in remote, collaborative environments
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially within small, close-knit technical teams
