Purpose of Job

To undertake basic work performing routine duties in accordance with detailed procedures and instructions.

Entry Criteria
  • External – some previous factory work experience with basic numeracy, communication, and literacy skills.
  • A knowledge of the work duties to be acquired in the job following up to 3 months of training and familiarisation.
Level of Responsibilities
  • Operating simple machinery or equipment in accordance with instructions.
  • Carrying out routine assembly tasks (sub‑assembly).
  • Carrying out routine manual tasks (preparing inputs and outputs for assembly, packing and warranty).
  • Picking parts for assembly or dispatching.
  • Chairs functions inspection and packaging.
  • Transfer finish goods and spare parts to stock/dispatching area.
  • Completing tasks safely and to agreed quality standards.
  • Delivering a quality product to the next step in the process.
  • Passing on details of completed work.
  • To load and unload container & trucks.
  • Check material returned from customer.
  • To scrap material approved by finance team.
