Wärtsilä Corporation seeks a Warehouse Associate for Niterói, Brazil. You will support Field Service and Workshop operations, manage stock, and ensure tools and consumables are ready for service activities.

This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow established processes. Responsibilities include receiving/delivering goods, maintaining minimum stock levels, supporting audits, coordinating shipments, and using the Field Service Tool Management System.

Qualificações

  • Technical high school diploma required in logistics, administration, mechanical, or industrial fields.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Intermediate English; able to read operational docs and participate in meetings.

Responsabilidades

  • Receive and deliver goods at storage locations to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Prepare and separate tools and consumables for Field Service activities.
  • Coordinate shipments and logistics for service deliveries.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and assist in cycle counts and audits.

We are now looking for a Warehouse Associate – Niteroi, Brazil to join our team working for a better future.

What You Will Be Doing?

In this role, you will support Field Service and Workshop operations by ensuring efficient warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting the preparation of tools and consumables for service activities, and ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.

You will work closely with Field Service, Tool Management, and Warehouse teams to support service execution, inventory reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment while following established processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and deliver goods and services at different storage locations to ensure accurate stock levels, following Wartsila procedures.
  • Make purchase requests for materials according to Field Service demands while maintaining minimum stock levels.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify obsolete inventory.
  • Support inventory management activities for assets and consumables.
  • Perform cycle counts and support annual inventory audits.
  • Prepare and separate tools and consumables for Field Service activities.
  • Coordinate shipments, packaging, and logistics activities for service deliveries.
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Support PPE stock management and distribution.
  • Use the Field Service Tool Management System to control tool movements, calibration records, repairs, and disposal activities.
  • Provide local administrative support for the Field Service team and workshop operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and process efficiency.
What It Takes:
  • Technical high school diploma in Logistics, Administration, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Intermediate English skills; ability to participate in meetings and understand operational documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established processes.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge in:
  • Warehouse and inventory management processes.
  • Logistics coordination and material handling.
  • Asset and tool management.
  • Inventory counting and audit processes.
  • Microsoft Office applications.
  • Power BI or other automation tools is considered an advantage.
  • Field Service tool management processes is a plus.

The position is permanent , with the preferred location being Niterói, Brazil .

The role supports Field Service operations in Brazil and may require occasional travel.
