Qualificações

• 5+ anos de experiência profissional em edição de vídeo, incluindo direção ou liderança criativa.
• História envolvente para transformar material bruto em narrativas cativantes.
• Experiência em conteúdo de curto formato para anúncios pagos, UGC ou redes sociais.
• Capacidade de trabalhar de forma independente e definir direção criativa com supervisão mínima.
• Turnaround rápido e gestão de produção criativa de alto volume.
• Compreensão de ritmo, ganchos, retenção de audiência e edição orientada a performance.
• Ótimas habilidades organizacionais em ambiente de alta velocidade.

Responsabilidades

• Conduzir a direção criativa de conteúdo de vídeo de curto formato para publicidade paga, UGC e redes sociais.
• Revisar imagens brutas/transcrições para identificar o ângulo narrativo mais forte.
• Construir ganchos cativantes que prendam a atenção nos primeiros segundos.
• Guiar a estrutura, o ritmo e a edição de narrativas de alto desempenho, com atuação prática ou dirigindo outros editores.
• Produzir várias iterações com base no feedback, mantendo prazos rápidos.
• Definir padrões criativos e de qualidade no output de vídeo.
• Utilizar ferramentas de IA para otimizar fluxos de trabalho e gerar ideias criativas.
• Monitorar desempenho criativo e traduzir aprendizados em direção para conteúdos futuros.

Job Title: Video Editor / Director

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, performance-oriented Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts and proven leadership experience directing video content and/or a small creative team. This role goes beyond hands-on editing — the ideal candidate can independently define creative direction, identify compelling angles, build strong hooks, and guide short-form content (UGC-style and paid ads) from concept to final cut with minimal oversight.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment where speed, creative ownership, and continuous iteration are essential.

They are an exclusive e-commerce founder community that connects successful Amazon, DTC, and marketplace sellers to share strategies, resources, and networking opportunities to scale their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creative direction for short-form video content across paid advertising, UGC, and social media platforms.
• Review raw footage and/or transcripts to identify the strongest story angle and translate it into a clear creative direction.
• Build compelling hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
• Guide the structure, pacing, and edit of high-performing narratives — either hands-on or by directing other editors.
• Produce multiple iterations based on feedback while maintaining fast turnaround times.
• Set and maintain creative and quality standards across the video output.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, analyze content, and generate creative ideas.
• Monitor creative performance and translate learnings into direction for future content.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience, including experience directing or leading video creative (as a lead editor, creative lead, or team director).
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to turn raw footage into engaging narratives.
• Experience creating short-form content for paid ads, UGC, performance marketing, or social media.
• Ability to work independently and set creative direction with minimal supervision.
• Fast turnaround times and ability to manage high-volume creative production.
• Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and performance-driven editing.
• Excellent organizational skills and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience filming content using professional cameras or smartphones.
• Willing to occasionally come to the US for corporate events.
• Familiarity with direct-response advertising and creative testing.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, Nano Banana) to improve creative workflows and productivity.
• Background working with lifestyle, consumer, or high-energy brands.
