A leading logistics company in Brazil seeks an experienced Volume Planning Manager to oversee last mile volume planning. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to generate and improve volume plans, ensuring accuracy, and facilitating alignment on critical planning assumptions. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree, experience in demand planning, advanced Excel skills, and fluency in English.
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is looking for an experienced professional to own Amazon´s last mile volume planning. The Volume Planning Manager is directly responsible for generating AMZL´s overall volume plans at a national level, working with critical stakeholders to define mid/long term volume plans. Has scope of planning across all delivery channels and node types (DSP, EDSP, Hub, Flex). The volume planning manager is responsible for managing AMZL’s volume plans which will later be consumed by OTR and UTR planning analysts. They work with multiple inputs of information (such as upstream forecasts, mechanical capacity inputs per Cycle) to generate AMZL volume plans for the short, medium and long terms (W+2, W+12, Guidances and yearly planning cycles respectively). The volume planning manager is focused on improving forecast accuracy and variability, ensuring that upstream forecasts are calibrated according to network changes and daily volume behavior at each node. They ensure proper volume plan communication to all teams which consume forecasts for planning purposes (DSP, EDSP, Hub, Flex, Finance, PXT) and own dive deeps on critical planning assumptions such as Cycle Share for DSs, Child/Parent network and delivery channel mix in shared jurisdictions (Hub x DSP x Flex).
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for varied audiences. You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in demand planning and hands-on experience in such activities are a must.
