Banco Santander SA in the United States is seeking a Vice President to originate, structure, and execute LATAM-focused solutions for onshore banks, asset managers, and insurers. The role focuses on Funding, Derivatives, Rates, and FX, collaborating with Sales, Trading, and Coverage to tailor hedging and financing structures.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in Spanish (Portuguese a plus). Bachelor’s degree and Series 7/63 are preferred.

The role partners closely with Sales, Trading, and Coverage teams to deliver customized structures that address hedging, financing, and risk management objectives.**What You Bring:*** 5+ years of relevant experience in structuring and/or markets solutions for financial institutions, sovereign clients and offshore Latam focus funds.* Demonstrated experience across Funding, Derivatives, Rates, and FX, including building and executing structured solutions.* Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute accurately in a fast-paced environment.* Strong understanding of product mechanics, pricing fundamentals, and risk considerations, with the ability to communicate clearly to internal stakeholders and senior client contacts.* Fluency in Spanish is required; Portuguese is a plus.* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial judgment.* High integrity, disciplined risk mindset, and strong attention to detail.**Education:*** Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required**Certifications:*** Series 7,63**It Would Be Nice For You To Have:*** Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.**What Else You Need To Know:**The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
