The Upgrades Technical Sales Manager leads the development and finalization of Upgrades business opportunities in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Colombia to meet IET Gas Technology Service regional targets.

Responsibilities
  • Technical staff originating sales by positioning Baker Hughes technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution in energy brownfield applications.
  • Promote the upgrades business value proposition of Baker Hughes turbomachinery technology.
  • Works in close cooperation with regional sales, account sales and commercial proposal staff.
  • Partner with DTI (demand to inquiry) to develop conceptual and feasibility studies to increase Upgrades market penetration.
  • Fleet scouting to develop upgrades opportunities from small modifications to large and complex projects.
  • Sales processes require technical analysis and adaptation to client conditions.
  • Manages complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally.
  • Technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
  • Cooperates with technical colleagues to answer customer requests and discuss local conditions to build tailored solutions in brownfield conditions.
  • Handles Upgrades opportunities in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Colombia.
  • Meet Upgrades quarterly financial targets for the assigned region in close collaboration with regional sales organization.
Qualifications
  • Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Strong experience in turbomachinery industry.
  • Advanced in English and Fluent in Portuguese.
  • Knowledge in Spanish is a plus.
