  • Coordinate import and export cargo in transit along Brazilian ports.

Job Purpose

Data transmission Brazilian Customs Systems & Port Authorities related to Import, Export and FROB cargoes on board (full and empty containers) and support Operational Team minimizing risk of fines due to vessel schedule changes.

Main responsibilities and assignments
  • Coordination of import and export cargo in transit along Brazilian ports
  • Responsible to validate all shipments received as Transshipment cargo and update connecting vessel in the system
  • Monitor Brazilian cargoes in transit in other Transshipment ports as Cartagena, Manzanillo, PA, RP ports and etc
  • Ensuring boarding on the first available vessel (connection)
  • Following all managed local rules by maritime and customs authorities
  • Waiver & booking Requests to EBN carriers
  • Coordinating together with Space Control team the available allocation in the feeders and/or long-haulm vessels
  • Coordination to guarantee that contingency plan is followed and put in place.
  • Proactively look for alternatives (together with Space Control team) for cargoes in transit when the period on the Transshipment port exceeded 7 days.
Degree and specific knowledge
  • Degree in administration, foreign trade or related areas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of customs laws
