Job Description Summary

Responsible for ensuring the efficiency of Caterpillar’s export operations (documents and customs brokerage) for parts and components, delivering high performance, driving continuous improvement through innovative solutions, and ensuring compliance with local and global processes, programs and legislation.

What you will do:
  • Process export operations for parts and components from Caterpillar plants in Brazil;
  • Monitor and support the customs clearance process with the customs broker;
  • Issue export documentation, request international freight quotations, and prepare Debit Memos;
  • Execute and track the export process from invoicing to arrival abroad, ensuring accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency, and guarantee proper data entry in all involved systems;
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, special regimes (Special Deposit, RECOF, Temporary Export, Drawback, etc.), corporate and global compliance programs (US Export Controls, Customs Compliance, etc.), and supply chain security programs (CTPAT, OEA, etc.);
  • Support / coordinate governance activities for OEA (Security) and Risk Management;
  • Maintain contact with logistics and system service providers;
  • Lead and actively participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Report and analyze departmental performance indicators;
  • Act as the focal point for internal and external customer support;
  • Validate and approve invoices from service providers;
  • Support internal and external audits related to export operations;
  • Maintain accurate and organized physical and digital records.
What you will have:

  • Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way
Basic requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in International Trade, International Business/Relations, Administration, Economics, or Logistics.
  • Pre-advanced English
  • Intermediate level in Power BI and Microsoft Office 365
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in international trade, supply chain operations, logistics or freight forwarding.
Top candidates will also have:
  • Experience in export processes and supply chain security programs (OEA, CTPAT);
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, as well as advanced Power Apps and Power BI;
  • Advanced English;
  • Knowledge of the Piracicaba Parts Distribution Center(CDP) systems

Note: This position requires the candidate to work on‑site five days a week.
