A leading financial institution in São Paulo is looking for a professional to manage the settlement of foreign clients trading in the Brazilian market. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English and advanced skills in MS Excel, alongside excellent organizational abilities. Responsibilities include monitoring client instructions and confirming transaction details with brokers. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a focus on deadlines, offering a chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Qualificações

  • Advanced or fluent English is required.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package is needed.
  • Experience in using MS Excel at an advanced level is crucial.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor instructions received from clients in Equities, Fixed Income, and FX Deals.
  • Contact local brokers to confirm transaction details.
  • Advise clients on any issues during the settlement process.
  • Perform settlements directly at clearings like Bovespa.
  • Handle financial settlements for equities against local brokers.
  • Control cash balances for foreign investors.

Description

DTVM is the local custody for foreign clients trading in the Brazilian Market. The Settlement department is responsible to capture to pre-match and to settle all client instructions related to Equities Fixed Income and FX deals. The department have a very close relationship with Global Custody receiving constant queries by e-mail for settlement instructions status or market rules clarifications.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring the instructions received from client (Equities / Fixed Income / FX Deals);
  • Contact the local brokers or counterparties to confirm and match the details of the transactions;
  • Advise client if any issue or discrepancy in the settlement process of each instruction;
  • Performing settlement directly at the clearings (Bovespa / CETIP / SELIC);
  • Financial settlement of equities transactions against local brokers;
  • Financial settlement of FX deals against Third party FX agents;
  • Cash balance control for foreign investors.
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced / Fluent in English;
  • Knowledge of MS Office package;
  • MS Excel Advanced;
  • Team player;
  • Meticulous Attentive to details and organized;
  • Focused in controls and deadline;
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with custody activities;
  • Knowledge of VBA;
