Job Description

Trade Marketing Analyst plays a key role in driving brand visibility and commercial performance across Brasil markets. This position is responsible for planning and executing strategic trade marketing initiatives, supporting sales teams, and ensuring excellence at the point of sale. By analyzing sell‑in and sell‑out data, managing promotional activities, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, the analyst contributes directly to the growth and positioning of Mattel's brands in retail environments.

What Your Impact Will Be
  • Planning and execution of Trade Marketing campaigns aligned with commercial and brand strategies, aiming to increase visibility and conversion at the point of sale (POS).
  • Development of promotional and visual communication materials for POS, including displays, giveaways, signage, and store branding.
  • Management of promotional actions and brand activations, such as events, product sampling, demonstrations, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Relationship management with commercial partners, clients, and internal teams, acting as a bridge between marketing, sales, and operations to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
  • Negotiation with suppliers and agencies for material production, service contracting, and promotional execution, focusing on cost optimization and quality.
  • Sell‑in and sell‑out data analysis, identifying opportunities, risks, and market trends to support strategic decision‑making and campaign adjustments.
  • Retail execution monitoring, including store visits, audits, and tracking of execution KPIs such as shelfshare, out‑of‑stock rates, and brand visibility.
  • Budget control and management for Trade Marketing activities, including financial planning, expense tracking, and reporting.
  • Support to the sales team, providing materials, insights, and strategies to boost sales and strengthen brand presence across channels.
  • Involvement in all product categories, with a primary focus on POS and retail execution demands.
  • Participation in regional and global meetings, contributing local insights and aligning strategies within international stakeholders.
  • Availability for operational tasks, such as transporting materials, setting up displays, stocking stores, and supporting events when needed.
  • Collaboration with departments such as logistics, planning, and marketing, ensuring synergy and smooth execution of initiatives.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Technology
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Publicity
  • Previous experience (2–4 years) in Trade Marketing, Marketing, or Sales, preferably within consumer goods, retail, or toys/entertainment industries.
  • Experience collaborating across multi‑functional teams (sales, marketing, operations).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in budget management and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and trade marketing tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
