About this opportunity
As a Total Rewards Specialist LATAM, you will help to analyze, support, implement and maintain efficient administration of compensation and benefits programs. You will support Align Technology's HR and business areas, with consulting advice, analysis, program administration and maintain and extend relationships with market data providers. In addition to these activities, you will support Align´s expansion in the region providing guidance and implementing regional employee benefits and maintaining a close relationship with HR operations, finance, vendor and Brokers providing advice and administrating regional employee benefits. You will be a member of the regional Compensation and Benefits team and will report to the Senior Manager of Total Rewards, LATAM.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist market analyses and conduct job evaluations based on job creation or reclassification requests, considering business input, internal equity and external data to recommend appropriate job grade, incentive eligibility, and job title.
- Establish, extend and maintain relationships with market data providers and participate in annual country specific salary, benefit and salary increase surveys such as Mercer, Radford and others.
- Perform advanced cost analysis including equity/market adjustment, compa‑ratio, salary structure, and other analyses as necessary.
- Perform compensation analysis for HR Business Partners for promotions and transfers.
- Partner with HRBP’s on analyses, career paths and guidance on organization structure for leveling and new jobs.
- Participate in annual surveys benefits and pay increases from various suppliers and make deployment to stakeholders.
- Own and maintain regional salary market data through various (Excel/provider specific) databases; e.g. conduct job matching/pricing activities, administer outcome, and provide annual country specific input for salary range re‑definition.
- Support the creation of education, communication, and materials that are consistent across the region and conduct training on compensation fundamentals and remain abreast of compensation trends, developments, and applicable legislation.
- Support and lead the annual regional Compensation planning process; work closely with HRIS preparing for going live, manage all related communication, partner with HR business partners during the process, support AOp creation for benefits across LATAM.
- Handle the administration of Align employee benefits across LATAM; support insurance renewals, maintain relationships with local insurance brokers, manage/reques POs/PRs, work with Finance on invoice inquiries.
- Create and maintain specific employee benefits metrics and create and coordinate/monitor HR portal (SharePoint) employee benefits communication.
- Assist with global mobility demands and administration for LATAM.
- Assist the department head in any other project/activity when requested.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent fields.
- 4–6 years of directly related compensation and benefits experience, preferably acquired in a multinational or international company.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and influencing skills.
- Detail oriented with effective organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work with managerial and cross‑functional groups from different countries around the world.
- Fluent in English; Spanish desirable.
