Job summary

DAT-Schaub in Harmonia, Brazil, is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Technician to join our team on the shop floor. You will monitor safety and drive improvements through inspections and training.

We require a technical qualification in Occupational Health and Safety with registration, plus experience in an industrial environment and strong teamwork and communication skills. Balance of autonomy and professional growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Occupational Health and Safety with professional registration.
• Experience in Health & Safety, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Good knowledge of Brazilian Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Hands-on, proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Good organizational skills, autonomy and willingness to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety on the shop floor, identifying risks and improvements.
• Conduct safety inspections and follow up on preventive and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance on safe working practices to employees and managers.
• Support accident investigations and action plans.
• Support activities related to PGR, AET, PCA, PPE, CIPAA and SIPAT.
• Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives.
• Support audits and inspections and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date safety records, documentation and indicators.

Health & Safety Technician

At DAT-Schaub, we are looking for a Health & Safety Technician to join our team in Harmonia.

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive professional with a solid technical background in occupational health and safety who enjoys being close to the operation and working directly with employees on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor health and safety conditions on the shop floor, identifying risks and improvement opportunities;
• Conduct safety inspections and follow up on preventive and corrective actions;
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on safe working practices;
• Support the investigation of accidents and incidents and follow up on related action plans;
• Support and monitor activities related to PGR, AET, PCA, PPE, CIPAA and SIPAT;
• Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives;
• Support audits and inspections and help ensure compliance with applicable health and safety requirements;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, documentation and indicators.

What We Are Looking For
