Peloton Consulting Group is seeking a Tech Manager to translate client requirements with functionally aligned teams and to design robust data models for reporting. You will lead development teams, drive CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality through rigorous documentation and governance.

Qualified candidates will have strong SQL/PLSQL skills and hands-on Oracle tech experience (OIC, VBCS/APEX, BIP, OTBI), along with excellent stakeholder communication and mentoring abilities.

As a Tech Manager, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements in collaboration with functional consultants and technical leads, designing and implementing data models, and producing clear technical design documentation. The role also involves managing teams, processes, and tasks through tools like JIRA, promoting knowledge sharing within the development team, and ensuring efficient delivery through CI/CD practices. Additionally, the professional is expected to have strong hands‑on experience with technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools including OIC, VBCS/APEX, BIP, and OTBI.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and technical leads to gather, understand, and translate client business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Design, develop, and optimize data models that effectively support business processes and reporting needs

• Produce, maintain, and ensure the quality of technical design documentation, including architecture diagrams and detailed specifications

• Lead and manage development teams, ensuring tasks, priorities, and deliverables are properly tracked and executed through tools such as JIRA

• Oversee project progress, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and client expectations

• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, mentoring team members, and ensuring best practices are consistently applied across the development team

• Define, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, automated, and high-quality software delivery

• Ensure adherence to development standards, governance, and best practices across all technical activities

• Act as a technical reference point for the team, supporting problem-solving and decision‑making in complex scenarios

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring transparency throughout the development lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with functional consultants and technical leaders in requirement gathering and solution design

• Strong expertise in data modeling and database design

• Solid experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation

• Demonstrated experience in team management, process organization, and task tracking using JIRA or similar tools

• Experience in organizing, mentoring, and enabling development teams through knowledge sharing practices

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD processes and tools

• Advanced technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL

• Practical experience with Oracle technologies, including OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), VBCS or APEX, BIP (BI Publisher), and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence)
