ITX is Hiring a Tech Lead

About the Role

As a Tech Lead at ITX, you'll be a senior engineer and a key leadership figure within a cross‑functional agile delivery team.

You’ll report to a Delivery Director, and collaborate with the team's Architect, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to guide the implementation of high‑quality software.

This is a hands‑on role that combines technical delivery, leadership, and mentorship.

You’ll help shape architecture decisions, uphold best practices, and build lasting technical partnerships with clients.

What You’ll Do
Technical Leadership & Delivery
  • Work with the Architect to define and communicate technical design approaches
  • Own the tactical and technical implementation details of complex features
  • Lead solution design with an eye toward performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Drive quality through code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment planning
  • Stay hands‑on with the codebase and support end‑to‑end software delivery
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Foster a high‑trust, high‑energy team culture
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members at all levels
  • Actively engage in the team triangle (Tech Lead, Product Owner, Project Manager)
  • Facilitate team agreements and support healthy agile rituals
  • Proactively communicate progress, risks, and technical choices with stakeholders
Client Partnership & Impact
  • Serve as a trusted technical voice for the client
  • Identify blockers and propose alternatives that align with business goals
  • Balance short‑term deliverables with long‑term innovation
  • Champion best practices in performance, security, testing, and automation
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience across the full development stack
  • Expertise in front‑end frameworks like React or Angular
  • Back‑end proficiency in Java / Spring, along with SQL and NoSQL DBs
  • Deep understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and SPAs
  • Familiarity with build systems like Jenkins or Grunt
  • Proficient with Git, Bitbucket, and modern CI / CD practices
  • Skilled in writing and implementing unit, integration, and automated tests
  • Comfortable making sound decisions under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
