Where You Fit In

As the JAVA Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our Java‑based gaming platform. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high‑quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Oversee the complete development cycle of the Java gaming platform, ensuring quality, security, and best practices.
• Collaborate with managers and principal engineers in defining requirements, deadlines, and strategic technical decisions.
• Monitor project progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely deliveries aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, complex troubleshooting, and promote continuous improvement for the team and its processes.

Qualifications

• Technical Leader with solid experience in Java and related technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and DevOps tools.
• Advanced English, plus excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Micronaut) and SQL databases is also valued.

Remote role based in Brazil.
