Job summary

IQVIA in São Paulo seeks a Technical Lead to act as the technical authority for client data delivery projects within the DaaS platform, guiding implementation, troubleshooting, and ensuring delivery success.

You will mentor Configurators, collaborate with Project Managers, and coordinate with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams to ensure adherence to DaaS standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Overview

The Technical Lead serves as the primary technical authority for client data delivery projects within IQVIA's Data as a Service (DaaS) platform. This role provides technical leadership, mentors Configurators, supports Project Managers, and ensures successful delivery of client solutions while acting as an escalation point for complex technical and production issues.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of SFTP and enterprise data delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of databases, data integration, and data delivery processes.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, connectivity, and production issues.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• English proficiency at C1+ level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical data and IQVIA datasets.
• Experience in client-facing consulting, technical delivery, or data engineering environments.

Additional Information

• Client-facing role with significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• High-volume delivery environment supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• EST business hours coverage required (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
• Occasional on-call or after-hours support for critical production issues.

A senior data engineering or technical delivery professional with deep expertise in cloud data platforms, strong troubleshooting capabilities, excellent customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams while driving successful client outcomes.
