Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Tech Lead/Architect (.NET + Azure) to guide an international project. You will lead the technical direction, solve problems with the team, and implement solutions when needed. You will mentor engineers, ensure scalable and secure designs, and collaborate with DevOps to optimize operations.

The role requires senior hands-on capability, strong C#/.NET skills, Azure experience, and excellent communication in English to work with client technical experts.

• Help keep the backlog well-defined and participate in refinement sessions.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Tech Lead/Architect (.NET + Azure) to join an international project. In this role, you will be the technical leader of the team: a highly experienced professional who guides technical direction, solves problems together with the team, and is able to implement solutions when needed. What your day-to-day will look like

As the technical leader of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Being an accessible technical reference for the developers, QA, and support teams, assisting and guiding them whenever they need support
• Getting hands-on and implementing solutions when needed, especially when the team requires support to deliver changes
• Leading the technical response to severe production incidents, from diagnosis to verified resolution
• Guiding architectural and technical decisions, documenting the significant ones, to keep the solution scalable, secure, and sustainable
• Solving complex problems together with the team, bringing the right people together to find the best solution
• Reviewing technical solutions and promoting good programming and architecture practices
• Helping keep the backlog well-defined and taking part in refinement sessions
• Driving continuous improvements on an established solution
• Keeping code quality and security findings visible and remediated within agreed SLAs
• Defining and evolving technical standards
• Following .NET and Azure trends and bringing in the ones that make sense for the project
• Partnering with DevOps on application changes that affect operations
• Communicating in English with the client’s technical experts when needed
• Translating business needs into technical options and decisions

What you should have

Strong, in-depth experience in C# and modern .NET versions, including ASP.NET Core MVC Razor

Working knowledge of Azure and DevOps practices, enough to partner with DevOps on application changes that affect operations

High level of seniority, still hands-on and able to implement solutions

Experience in guiding teams and driving technical decisions

Proven ability to solve complex problems collaboratively, involving the right people and sharing the challenge with the team instead of working in isolation

Leadership soft skills to align people, encourage collaboration, and drive solutions together

Experience driving continuous improvements and technical standards

Experience with databases, version control, cloud, and CI/CD tools

Experience with automated testing, code review practices, and static analysis tools, including remediating code quality and security findings

Experience troubleshooting production issues and handling incidents

Good judgment to prioritize and to raise technical risks early

Experience or ability to work with development, QA, and support activities

Excellent communication skills, both technical and business-related, including clear written documentation
