As a Teaching Assistant at Red House, you will play a key role in supporting Head Teachers in the classroom, contributing to the students development and ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Support Head Teachers during classes, guiding students through activities to enrich their learning experience.
- Assist in preparing, distributing, and collecting class materials.
- Help implement the schools pedagogical projects and initiatives.
- Organize the classroom in advance with materials requested by the Head Teacher.
- Take part in the decoration of classrooms, bulletin boards, doors, and other learning spaces.
- Adapt learning activities for students with special educational needs, ensuring inclusion.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, supervising and guiding them during all activities.
- Welcome and dismiss students, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper handover to guardians.
- Supervise students during meals, promoting healthy eating habits and routines.
- Take the lead in the classroom during the Head Teachers temporary absence.
- Capture classroom moments through photos and videos, sharing them with the Head Teacher as scheduled, without interrupting class flow.
- Participate in academic meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops to continuously enhance professional skills.
- Attend school events involving families, representing the schools values and community spirit.
- Adhere to Red Houses educational guidelines, such as the Language Policy, Teachers Handbook, and Assessment Policy.
