Qualificações

• 7+ years of experience in Tax/Fiscal functions.
• 3+ years of experience in a Tax Specialist or senior tax advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the accurate calculation, review, and timely submission of all tax returns and ancillary tax obligations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure tax compliance and minimize tax exposure.
• Serve as the technical lead during internal and external audits related to tax matters.

The Fiscal Tax Specialist serves as the primary technical expert for all tax-related matters, ensuring the company's full tax compliance while identifying opportunities for tax optimization, mitigating tax risks, and guaranteeing the accurate calculation, reporting, and payment of taxes. This position plays a strategic role in aligning tax practices with current legislation and the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Governance

• Ensure the accurate calculation, review, and timely submission of all tax returns and ancillary tax obligations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure tax compliance and minimize tax exposure.
• Serve as the technical lead during internal and external audits related to tax matters.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Tax/Fiscal functions.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Tax Specialist or senior tax advisory role.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Protheus ERP
• Microsoft Office Suite
• SPED Fiscal
• EFD Contributions
• Experience with tax audits, tax recovery projects, and tax planning initiatives.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
