This role researches, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues across SAP MM, WM, and eWM for clients operating highly configured and integrated SAP 4.x and ECC environments. The Support Engineer diagnoses critical application issues and develops, tests, packages, and delivers effective fixes while maintaining a consistently high-quality client experience.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Resolve complex customer issues through methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP application functionality and technology.* Work closely with customers to understand their needs, support business change, and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience.* Configure, present, and advise on best practices and functionality across SAP MM, WM, and eWM.* Support country-specific tax, regulatory, and localization requirements, including Mexican and Brazilian processes.* Support client customizations and provide practical guidance based on experience and best practices.* Develop application break fixes for critical product defects or collaborate with developers to deliver solutions.* Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in test environments or through remote client connectivity.* Participate proactively in a 24x7x365 support organization, including working flexible hours when required.* Collaborate effectively within a virtual team and apply field experience across diverse client situations.* Contribute to knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, documentation, and process improvements that enhance the client experience.**Additional Duties and Responsibilities*** Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time based on progression and nature of opportunities**Experience*** 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, with strong expertise in MM and either WM or eWM.* 5+ years of experience directly supporting application end users in a corporate environment.* Proven experience with MM-WM and MM-eWM integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.* Demonstrated ability to support country-specific localizations, including Brazilian MM processes such as Nota Fiscal, tax calculation, and integration with fiscal solutions, as well as Mexican tax and regulatory requirements.* Experience supporting highly customized environments, including Z routines, user exits, and enhancements.* Experience managing critical incidents in SLA-driven support environments.* Proven success in SAP implementations, rollouts, or application support.* Strong working knowledge of supported business processes, SAP maintenance and patching mechanics, and SAP architecture.* Demonstrated analytical and logical problem-solving skills, including resolving complex issues across multiple SAP modules.* Experience conducting knowledge-transfer sessions and producing runbooks, solution documentation, and related support materials.* SAP certification(s) preferred.**Skills*** Exceptional troubleshooting skills and tenacity in resolving complex problems.* Strong commitment to client support and the ability to build successful, long-term client relationships.* Advanced knowledge of SAP application functionality, tables, relationships, and integration points.* Deep knowledge of SAP customization and extension methodologies.* Strong development capabilities using the SAP toolset.* Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.* Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.* Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.* Ability to work effectively from a remote, home-based office.**Preferred Qualifications*** Extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules across SAP 4.x and ECC releases, including business processes, navigation, configuration, cross-module integration, and underlying technology.* Experience with country-specific solutions, localizations, and global implementations.* Prior consulting experience is advantageous.**Education*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.**Language*** Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.* Spanish language proficiency is preferred.**Location*** Remote — Brazil**Why Rimini Street?**We are looking for talented, passionate people to help us build our future at Rimini Street.
