About the role : As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and expanding a high-value, long-term relationship with one of the largest financial institutions in Brazil.
This is a senior-level, quota-carrying role focused on building deep, trusted relationships across multiple executive stakeholders—spanning business, IT, finance, procurement, treasury, investments, loans, and international operations.
You will act as the primary executive interface between FIS and the client, driving strategic alignment, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored Banking and Payments solutions that support the client's transformation and innovation agenda.
Serve as the senior relationship owner for a strategic financial institution account in Brazil
Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with C-suite and senior executives across business units, technology, operations, finance, procurement, and treasury
Develop a deep understanding of the client's strategic priorities, challenges, and regulatory environment to position FIS as a long-term partner
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive account plan, aligning FIS solutions with the client's business objectives
Drive the sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and closure, with a focus on Banking and Payments solutions
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, delivery, legal, and executive leadership to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
Represent FIS at key client meetings, industry events, and executive briefings
10+ years of enterprise sales or strategic account management experience in financial services, banking technology, or fintech
Proven success managing large, complex accounts and navigating matrixed client organizations
Deep knowledge of the Brazilian financial ecosystem, including banking, payments, and regulatory frameworks
Strong consultative selling skills and experience influencing C-level executives
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Fluency in Portuguese and English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Based in São Paulo to facilitate easy access to in-person meetings with prospective and current customers, as well as FIS leadership and teammates
Knowledge of Brazil's payments ecosystem, banking ecosystem, and financial solutions
Experience with enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
Background in Banking-as-a-Service, real-time payments, or digital transformation initiatives
