BW Energy seeks a Materials Coordinator to oversee onboard inventory, warehouse, and materials logistics. You will coordinate requisitions, material code creation, and disembarkation logistics, working closely with onshore Procurement to align materials planning with operational needs.

The role requires strong organizational and coordination skills, technical accuracy, and proactive communication to optimize supply chain processes and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma completed.
• Preferably technical education.
• Additional training in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related areas is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain precise computer records using the FPSO's stock control software.
• Ensure stores are secured and control systems prevent loss or theft.
• Undertake regular stock checks to verify accuracy of the stock control system.
• Receive stores onboard and update records against manifests and purchase orders.
• Inform Maintenance Superintendent of deficiencies in material received onboard.
• Issue materials under direction and update computer records.
• Notify when stock falls beneath minimum and prepare requisitions.
• Update minimum and maximum stock levels as directed.
• Keep an updated punch list of computerised maintenance system issues.
• Participate in internal stock audits and take corrective actions.

The Materials Coordinator oversees onboard inventory, warehouse, and materials logistics activities, including requisitions, material code creation, and disembarkation logistics. The role works closely with onshore Procurement to coordinate materials planning and ensure operational requirements are met. The position requires strong organizational and coordination skills, technical accuracy, and proactive communication to optimize supply chain processes, ensure seamless materials flow, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Responsabilities:

• Maintain precise computer records using the FPSO's stock control software
• Ensure that stores are kept secure and operate control systems to prevent loss or theft
• Undertake regular and systematic inventory checks to verify the accuracy of the stock control system
• Receive stores onboard and accurately check them off against manifests and purchase orders, update the computer records accordingly and prepare and distribute the Materials Received Onboard summary
• Revert to Maintenance Superintendent any deficiency in the Material received Onboard
• Issue materials under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent, record the issue and update the computer record accordingly
• Inform the Maintenance Superintendent when stock levels fall beneath the set minimum and prepare requisitions and update the computer records according to approved requisitions under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent
• Systematically update minimum and maximum stock levels under the direction of the Maintenance Superintendent
• Keep an updated punch list of Computerized Maintenance System issues. Report it regularly to the Maintenance Superintendent
• Participate in internal stock audits and take corrective actions where identified
• Maintain a close working relationship with the BW dedicated buyer over material procurement and logistics
• Responsible for ensuring requisitions contain the maximum amount of information to enable the onshore based buyers to quickly identify and procure materials and services and to reduce technical clarifications and delays to the minimum
• Packing and identification of material to disembark as per instructions of MSupt, based on FPSO needs. Provide information to Logistic, in order to support the importation/exportation and local shipment of material
• Request and creation of Codes for stock control system, ensuring a cleaning and correct database of the materials used onboard. Analyzes and creation of Lists of Material to create B.O
• Attend the needs from GEMARE (E&C Warehouse Management and Asset Reporting) in order to do keep material management in accordance with the criteria of the Corporate
• Creation of Non-Conformance Report, based on visual inspection with support from technical department which requested the material. Attend the needs from Corporate Asset, to optimize and planning the stock as per their evaluation and recommendation. Register of PPE´s issued to be following Quality and HSE Procedures and standards
• Other duties that are correlated to the function as directed and requested by Maintenance Keep up certification applied to the function and medical certificates up to date
• Attend Company training as defined. Perform all emergency duties assigned to their function, in response to the emergency, if applicable
• Ensure compliance with BW procedures, applied to the function, including BW Permit to Work System
• Need to be fully familiar and comply with Company Policies, Quality, HSE and all Procedures assigned to his title/position
• Anticipate and notice any unsafe condition and assure that the correction actions are taken according to procedure
• Responsible for your own safety and for the safety of your co-workers

Requirements

Education

• High school completed
• Preferably Technical education
• Additional training in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related areas is considered a plus

Experience

• Experience in storekeeping, preferably on FPSO

Knowledge

• Advanced English
