You will leverage your expertise in developing scalable systems and integrating AI to enhance product capabilities. What will you do

• Work closely with our CTO and engineering team to design and evolve the core backend and platform architecture that powers all our applications.
• Lead complex technical initiatives across backend systems, infrastructure, and developer tooling.
• Define and implement scalable foundations that allow the team to ship faster and operate reliably as we grow.

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and evolving the backend architecture that powers our products and internal platform.
• Building scalable and reliable backend services.
• Improving infrastructure, observability, reliability, and deployment workflows across the engineering stack.
• Working directly with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Supabase, Cloudflare).
• Creating internal tools, platform capabilities, and shared components that enable engineers to build faster and safer.
• Leading architectural decisions and helping the team scale both technically and operationally.

What we’re looking for

• Backend Engineering:
  • Strong expertise in backend development with languages like Kotlin, Java, Go, Python or similar.
  • Proven experience building and operating scalable backend systems in production.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience integrating AI models or AI‑powered workflows into real product systems is a strong plus.
• Systems Architecture:
  • Strong experience designing scalable architectures and making high‑impact technical decisions.
  • Ability to design systems that remain reliable, observable, and maintainable as the company scales.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
• Platform & Infrastructure:
  • Experience designing and improving developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or internal engineering tooling.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and production environments.
  • Experience improving system reliability, performance, and operational visibility.

• You can communicate in English, since that’s our official language. Most of the team also speaks Spanish and French.
