We are seeking a Sr. Functional Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Vertex and a strong background in Finance & Accounting and Data Models. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can drive impactful solutions and enhance our financial systems. The position operates during the day shift with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Vertex solutions to optimize financial processes and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the integration of data models to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
• Provide expert guidance on finance and accounting best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial systems with business objectives.
• Analyze complex financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial systems and processes.
• Ensure the seamless operation of financial systems by troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial data accuracy and reliability.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve user experience.
• Facilitate training sessions to empower team members with the knowledge and skills needed for effective system use.
