What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Collaborate with various teams to support regional sales objectives and develop customized territory plans
  • Conduct technical seminars and presentations on Illumina's Sequencing product lines and applications
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships as a trusted consultant
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and new product innovations to drive sales
  • Participate in customer-facing events and lead workshops to promote product knowledge
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BA/BS or MS in Life/Biological Sciences or equivalent degree is required
  • Customer-facing sales or support experience in Life Sciences or Genomics preferred
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively
  • Highly self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic work environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Ph.D. or Masters in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Genomics, or related field is highly desired
  • Experience in Next Generation Sequencing and multiomic applications
