Job summary

Subsea7 is seeking a Senior Installation & Project Engineer to deliver offshore installation engineering for flexible pipelines and umbilicals, ensuring safe, compliant project execution from tendering to closeout.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, offshore personnel and clients to review deliverables, support vessel mobilizations and mentor junior engineers while upholding HSEQ standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation engineering activities for offshore projects involving flexibles and umbilicals.
• Develop, review and approve engineering deliverables, procedures, calculations and technical reports.

• Participate in risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
• Interface with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical matters.
• Support offshore operations, vessel mobilizations and installation campaigns when required.
• Ensure engineering solutions are delivered safely and in accordance with project objectives.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Senior Installation & Project Engineer is responsible for delivering installation engineering activities related to flexible pipelines and umbilicals, ensuring safe and efficient project execution in compliance with company standards, client requirements and industry regulations.

The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, project stakeholders, offshore personnel and clients throughout all project phases, from tendering to execution and project closeout.

What will you be doing?

• Perform installation engineering activities for offshore projects involving flexibles and umbilicals.
• Develop, review and approve engineering deliverables, procedures, calculations and technical reports.
• Support project execution plans, schedules and resource requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
