Our ideal candidate will proactively identify and implement machine learning algorithms for a range of use cases in order to drive client performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated machine learning models for various marketing purposes, including:
- Optimizing the investment mix of marketing campaigns.
- Determining a lead's propensity to purchase.
- Recommending products to existing customers.
- Forecasting future performance for clients.
- Mentor junior data scientists and guide cross‑functional teams in leveraging data‑driven insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to understand complex client needs and translate them into innovative data science solutions.
- Design and oversee A / B tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of our solutions.
- Create and present insightful visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Stay at the forefront of advancements in machine learning and data science, particularly in marketing applications, and lead the implementation of cutting‑edge solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in data science across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Ph.D. preferred in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science, with at least 2 years focused on marketing analytics or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading successful data science projects in a marketing, digital agency, or related environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, with extensive experience using libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Advanced knowledge of MLOps practices and experience leading the implementation of MLOps workflows.
- Deep expertise in advanced machine learning algorithms like XGBoost, Neural Networks, Regression Analysis, and Collaborative Filtering, with a focus on marketing applications.
- Strong experience with SQL and database management, including working with large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency in R and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
- Strong project management skills and experience working directly with clients.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align data science initiatives with business objectives.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
