• Proven experience in architecting and developing robust platforms.
• Knowledge of modern frameworks, especially Spring Boot.

Responsabilidades

The role:

We are looking for experienced professionals, preferably with a background in banking or financial services, and/or experience building Know Your Customer (KYC) or Know Your Business (KYB) processes.

Should have a heavy API integrator background.

Candidates with investment‑related system experience will be considered a strong differentiator.

About the Project

We are embarking on a mission to build a cutting‑edge, direct‑to‑consumer digital investment platform for a leader in the financial services industry. The core challenge is to create a seamless and intuitive experience that captures and retains significant assets, particularly from individuals transitioning out of employer‑sponsored retirement plans and those seeking to invest their personal capital. This is a ground‑up initiative to deliver a modern wealth management solution. You will be at the heart of a strategic, multi‑phased program that fundamentally transforms how our client engages with its customers.

The work

The project involves architecting and developing a robust platform powered by a modern, API‑based infrastructure. We will integrate with a leading fintech partner to handle the core mechanics of account opening, funding, and trading, allowing our team to focus on building a superior, client‑facing experience. Success requires more than just great code. You will join a dynamic, cross‑functional team of product managers, UX/UI designers, business strategists, and compliance experts. You will work in close collaboration to navigate complex financial regulations, translate intricate business requirements into elegant technical solutions, and solve challenging integration problems with our external partners. This role is ideal for a proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building products that have a real‑world impact on people's financial futures.

Requirements:

• English B2 or higher
• Strong proficiency in Java, with a focus on modern frameworks — especially Spring Boot.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases (i.e Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (i.e CosmosDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience with microservices architectures, including communication patterns such as REST and gRPC.
• Expertise in event‑driven architectures, using tools such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Amazon SQS.
• Experience deploying applications in Cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency in containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implementation and automation of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Advanced use of Git and collaborative branching strategies (Gitflow, code review practices).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Implementation of robust testing strategies (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Adoption of best practices in TDD/BDD and code coverage analysis.
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
• Hands‑on experience with high‑volume and high‑scalability systems.
• Proven ability to contribute to code refactoring, performance optimization, and continuous architectural improvements.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and their practical application.
